This was a fun item I made because I had a bit of fleece left over from making some winter scarves for my husband.  The selvage on fleece has a furry rolled up bit, so I cut a thin strip from the selvage and sewed it to the edges of the cape and hood to look like black fur.  I could convert my pattern into a longer cape, but I wanted it short for this project.

I paired the t-shirt material cape up with a pair of matching leggings for a modern look to the classic "Little Red Riding Hood"... more suited for a bicycle ride to Grandma's house rather than a walk through the woods.
